THE SUN
The sun / so high / the brightest star / to human eyes / who guides / and breathes life to all — He was a child of the sun who basked in its warmth and clung to its protection. In his darkest days it appeared to cleanse his soul, giving him a glimpse of heaven, a silent litany of humanity in the face of his daunting trials.
Fire, fire in they sky / burning bright with courage / unwavering flames bring forth / justice and the divine — It’s brightness who lived in the golden hues of stranded hairs, in the smiles of friends, and in the light of love. — BUT it could never pierce the ocean deep below where a villain laid in wait. One by one the lights die out, a silence condemning, until the day where the dark and light meet once more.
