Face it All Together at Skyfall | Chasin
Colin was in trouble with Bonnie and it was because of Chase.
Not that Chase had done anything wrong, really. You couldn’t kiss anyone in Virginia Beach without hurting someone else, but Chase had kissed Kim in front of everyone at the party last night and Alan had seen it.
Colin still wasn’t sure what to do about it. If kissing Kim made Chase happy, then Colin wanted Chase to kiss her, but if Chase kissing Kim made Alan unhappy, then Colin didn’t want Chase to kiss her.
Why was everything such a mess? Why couldn’t love be simple? Why couldn’t the people you loved, love you back? Why couldn’t everyone get along and be happy? Why was everything in this town so damn complicated?
Colin really wasn’t sure what he was going to say. He didn’t know if he should even get involved ... but at the same time, he knew what it was like to be Alan. He knew what it was like to stand there and watch the girl you loved get kissed by someone else.
But how to approach the subject without letting Chase know about Alan?
“So,” Colin began, leaning on the counter, “You and Kim, huh? Are you guys going out?” He asked, casually, moving to make both of them a cup of coffee from their new millennium falcon coffee machine. “Or was the whole thing last night a one time dealio?”
He didn’t want to seem to eager to know, so he added, "Hey, also, so I was thinking about what you said ... y’know about Bobby and ... well, I think we should let him stay. I don’t think it would be good for him if we kicked him out. He can be kinda mean sometimes, but I don’t know, I kinda like the guy.” He shrugged. “I think that deep down, he’s a good kid who just needs people to believe in him. But, at the end of the day, you mean way more to me than he does, man, and if you think it’s time for him to go, then we’ll talk to him.”
