so chris actually lives with will/drew so he probably knows ginny quite well since i’m assuming she’s at their house a lot??? and i feel like chris LOOOOOVES ginny. he probably thinks she’s adorable and is seriously the #1 dinny shipper, hahahaha. HE PROBABLY HAS BUTTONS. and he’s definitely always glad to see her and gives her pie and funny hats. .... i really don’t know what to do with this man *facepalm*

so! we chatted about these two briefly and because we’re both bad at remembering stuff: we said they meet because of kim’s relationship with max. and that alan frequently comes to beat up/yell at max because of how he treats kim. so maybe ginny is the only one he ever finds? and max is, like, conveniently never there when alan comes over? so alan just starts chatting with ginny/explaining to her why he’s so upset about max and what max has done to kim. and maybe just talks himself down. and then these two could potentially become friends because of it and are maybe still friends now even though max and kim are no longer dating and alan is no longer rushing over to the monroe house at all hours of the night? yeah?

max treats pretty much everyone like shit, but I’m realizing that the person that he’s treated the woRST is actually ginny???? b/c he def knows he has this everlasting hold over her just because he’s her brother. and yeah, idk if there’s too much more to say besides what we already talked about????? we may actually be ready to start them IC, unless you think that there is???

These two might know each other? I don’t know if the timeline actually works out but they might have been dating Selznicks at the same time? How long ago did Ginny and Will break up? Cassie and Owen broke up about two years ago.

Okay so. SO EXCITED ABOUT THESE TWO. THEY ARE GOING TO BE SO FUN. But we should talk about high school?? Ginny is a year younger than Liz so she probably would’ve been a freshman when Nick graduated? I’m guessing that’s why she was only nice to him/they started becoming friends there at the tail end of his high school career? But Nick would SERIOUSLY remember it forever. And he probably actually tracked her down when he came back to VA Beach? Since I’m guessing Ginny had fell out of the spotlight a bit? Maybe he wondered what happened and went looking for her and got the full story?? And then they started actually forming a friendship since I’m guessing they were only kind of friends when Nick left for New York? Thoughts??

Okay, so I was originally thinking that Ian basically lost contact with all of his va beach friends, but I can actually see where he might have emailed Ginny once or twice just to make sure that she was okay (and once not so subtly asked about natalie)? B/c i think that Ginny is kinda the little sister he never had? And since her own brother is such a loser (who Ian does NOT like at all omg), he feels the need to just make sure she’s okay?

aaah! Annie is so adorable i just wanna hug her. (tbh i love everyone in this bar forevz.)

But I totally agree with everything you said in your message. They cERTAINLY know each other if she dated Max, esp because like half the time Ginny would be like: “....why are you here? what are you doing? you’re way too good for my brother. I don’t understand this. ...but i guess if you’re happy????”

I think it might be true though that maybe they’re not super close? Like Ginny is always really nice to everyone and basically treats everyone like they’re her best friends even if they’re not? So maybe they just didn’t see each other a whole lot or sort of didn’t go out of their way to hang out/meet up, but still really enjoyed seeing each other at parties and stuff?

Also, as a note, Ginny does know about what happened with her and Drew, because Drew decided he was going to trust Ginny and tell her about it. Now, Ginny hasn’t said anything to anyone about it, bc she figures it’s not her story to tell or really have anything to do with her. But I could also see it now kind of... not changing the way she acts around Annie, but possibly shading it a little bit?

Like def trying to be a bit more protective of Drew around her, though at the same time she has kind of a secret thing in her heart that she would let Drew go if he and Annie decided to make another go at it, even if it would hurt. (which Ginny is increasingly finding that it really rEALLY would.)

idk, i’m rambling now about a lot of different stuff, but yay! Annie and Ginny! They’re gonna be hella complicated and it’s amazing!

because i too am trash at responding to messages, here I appear!!!

John is literally the sweetest dude. i can’t handle this rn. bABY BOY IN LOVE WITH HIS BESTIE BUT RESPECTING HER BOUNDARIES OH MAN.

On the other hand, because of that....

Ginny has literally no clue whatsoever that he has a massive crush on her. Like absolutely no idea. (which is hilarious bc oh how the turn tables, with Ginny in Will’s place now. ahahahahahahah)

But I think she seriously appreciates that John has always been there for her. How long do you think they’ve been friends? Was he friends with her pre-her father going to jail? Or more recently?

Bc I could see maybe Ginny having a seriously rough time when she had to drop out of college and everything. She was surviving, I think, but it was pretty much just survival for a good few months for her. And she could totally have used someone kind like John around to help hold her up when things were getting bad and she was having to learn how to live without her high-society security blanket anymore.
