BUT IT TURNS INTO A WEIRD ABSTRACT WATERCOLOR THAT DOESNT REALLY LOOK LIKE RACHEL BUT JUST MAKES RACHEL SO HAPPY BECAUSE HER GIRLFRIEND TRIED SO HARD ??? AND REYNAS MIDKEY EMBARRASSED BC RACHEL IS A BETTER PAINTER BUT RACHEL HANGS IT IN HER ROOM BC IT MAKES HER HAPPY

just imagine? reyna spending days trying to make something pretty and realistic but instead there’s some big red blotch where rachel’s hair is supposed to be and she just crumples all her tries up and tosses them under a couch or something and means to throw them out later 

one day after rachel is over they just disappear and reyna doesn’t care but when she goes over to rachel’s there they all are, smoothed out and covering the wall behind her bed and reyna nearly starts crying when rachel tells her how much she loves them and is so so proud and happy

((painting dates where rachel creates masterpieces and reyna tries her best in capturing rachel as she works, with her hair in a messy bun and her tongue poking out of her mouth - even though reyna’s is nothing compared to rachel’s they hang them up side by side and snuggle undernearth them with a bad movie))

I’m glad you aren’t personally hurt by Riordan’s comments, and your concern with others is so sweet to hear. 🖤 if this comment caught me even a week ago i would be much more of a mess than i am currently, and every questioning girl has just been told that her attraction to girls isnt valid. it’s just atrocious and i envy your maturity in handling this situation
