———————
Dean and Sam has settled into their usual diner spot. The place screamed retro has the old yet charmful jukebox played golden classics before and even after their time. It was rare that they even gots breaks for, hunting so when they do, they grab it at full advantage.
Dean, obviously making flirty passes at the waitress while Sam watches in annoyance. He always has to make his mark on women wherever he goes. Just when Dean was about to take another bite from his burger the bell rang from the door. A young woman with a commanding presence. Dressed in all black with heels to match. She confidently strides in walking to the counter and placing her order.
The mysterious woman was able to capture the eyes of the two boys. “She’s hot.” Dean blatantly says. Smirking. Sam rolls his eyes and looks back at the woman. She had a cross tattooed on her hands and rings decorating her perfectly manicured fingers. She pulled her hair back and gold earrings shined through .
Sam studied her. A feeling of familiarity radiated from her. As if he knew her from somewhere. He’s seen those earrings before.
Why does he know those earrings?

Dean and Vivienne were sitting on the couch watching a movie. It was Vivienne’s 15th birthday. It wasn’t nothing special. Bobby got her a cake and gave her a hug. Dean got her a gold necklace with a pendant.
“I got this for you. It’s not much but it’s something. And it’s real.” Vivienne chuckled in confusion and opened up the black box. She was in awe of what was infront of her. She always raved to Dean that you needed a new necklace. And here he got her a gold necklace with a cute pendant.
“Dean… how much was this?” Dean chuckled and turned her around so he can clip in on. She lifted up her hair and felt the coolness of the new accessory. “Just enough for you vivy.” He turned her back around amid admired the necklace around your neck. Vivienne instantly lunged at him, hugging him tightly. “Thank you, thank you, oh Dean…I’m never taking it off.” She continued to hug him and eventually let him go for air. They both laughed at each other.
Dean normally doesn’t have much. And he certainly wasn’t going to tell her that he had some cash lying around from various jobs he had to do to keep Sam in new clothing and hot food. And he surely wasn’t going to tell her he almost beat a man for wanting the same necklace as him. He smiled. He loved that she loved the gift.
He wanted to see her happy. Seeing her bright smile made deans hearts jump. He didn’t know what love was but he was sure that this is what it felt like.
Just then Sam raced out of his room. “Did you give her the necklace?!” He jumped on the couch eagerly. His eyes darted to your neck seeing the gold shine on her neck. “Dude…we were supposed to do it together.” Sam groaned and rested his head on Vivienne’s shoulder.
Dean rolled his eyes and apologized. Sam also had a gift for her as well. Sam almost looks at Vivienne at the big sister almos mother. Bobby took in Vivienne at the age of 5, her parents? Unknown.
Dean and Vivienne basically raised Sam with everything their could reach. Dean did all the manual labour of going to find various jobs while Vivienne stayed home and tended to Sam.
As they grew up, Sam grew attached to Vivienne. He loved her dearly and wanted to get her something as well.
“Sammy, you have something for me too?” She giggled at his facial expression. Sam nodded vigorously and pulled a small sack out his pocket. “Just like Dean, I got you something too.” Vivienne took the sack and opened it up. It was a pair of gold hoop earrings. Perfect sized. It had an engraving of her name on it.
“Sammy, how did you…when did..how?” She hugged him just as tightly as she did Dean. “That’s a secret I’ll never tell.” Sam hugged her back and pulled away. “This is officially the best birthday ever!” Vivienne squealed as she layed back on the couch.
As the night went on, the trip stayed on the couch watching movies. Sammy was first one to fall asleep, laying his head on Vivienne’s lap. And Vivienne rested her head on deans shoulder. It was almost like a family photo. Dean looked and his heart swell.
His perfect little family. He softly kissed Vivienne on the head and put his arm around her.
“Happy birthday Vivy.”
________
Sam studies the earrings with intent. He remembered those earrings. He knows those earrings. He gave them to his friend years ago for her birthday.
Was it her? Was that Vivienne? Couldn’t be, he hasn’t seen her since he left for Stanford. But surely he would know right? The woman smiled and nodded and grabbed her food walking out the diner. Sam on an impulse ran after her.
Dean in confusion yelled out to him. “Sam! Sam? Where are you going!?” Sam ignored his brother and ran after the woman outside. She walked to what it seemed like her car. Sam knew it was a risk. To call out to a woman he felt like was his friend. His sister almost. But he needed to know.
“Vivienne!”
The woman stopped. She flicked her head and furrowed her eyebrows. She turned her whole body and eyed the boy cautiously. Sam eyes widened. He saw the necklace. The same necklace Dena gifted her 10 years ago.
“Sam! What the hell man! You can’t be dashing out of there. I had to pay the bill.” Dean complains until he stands next to Sammy. He looks and the woman and does a double take.
Deja vu?
“Sam?” The woman whispered. “Dean?” She looked at both problems. Sam basically lunged his body at Vivienne. She grabbed him and hugged him back. The familiarity finally making a union. Sam held her tightly.
He left go and sees tears watering in her eyes. She looked and Dean.
Tension.
Dean and Vivienne looked at one another for a very long time. He couldn’t believed it. His long lost friend. His soulmate. His only love, was standing right infront of him. After not seeing her for years.
“Hey Dean.” She whispered softly. She smiled softly. Dean said nothing but grabbed her and hugged her tightly.
She finally got her back and this time, he wasn’t letting her go.
