Gosh how long has it been since I shot an engagement session. I can't remember it has to be at least 2 months. This session made me feel a bit like things were almost back to normal. I know they are not but it was so nice to get out in the sun and shoot this gorgeous couple! I was soooo excited when Marcy contacted me to shoot her wedding and engagement images! Thanks for Celeste and Crystal!!! Shout out to some of my fave clients!! With all of this craziness going on it was tough to get this shoot really scheduled. We were first going to shoot at the Mission in San Juan but then all of this happened and they closed down for months. Luckily Marcy came up with a great idea... PASADENA.. I love Pasadena and it has been at least a couple of years since I shot there.. so I was super excited... Cynthia and Will got the their shoot a half hour late... thanks to Wil, but honestly it was perfect. The light was magical at that time. Cynthia's yellow dress glowed amidst the warm toned foliage. As you can see from the images. It was perfect. The afternoon was warm but not melting hot. The breeze was nice. I thoroughly enjoyed the shoot and connecting with them! Will was attentive and affection.. I shot a few photos of Will bucking Cynthias high heeled shoes and I thought it was such a sweet moment.. let me know which is your fave. When Janelle and Andrew told me they wanted their engagement session in downtown Anaheim, of course I was thrilled.. I live minutes from downtown but it was perplexing as I don't have that location in my locations pdf (which I email all clients) It turns out they live just blocks away from Downtown Anaheim and they are always hanging out there. I LOVE THAT! I love shooting in locations that are special to my couples. Janelle and Andrew were so much fun to shoot.. they could not hold back their silliness! It was toooooo much fun. I have known Brenda and Moe for a very long time. And I am thrilled to have been chosen to shoot their wedding and engagement. Nothing makes me happier than seeing someone I love be happy. I adore these two and seeing them together brings me so much joy! I had a blast with these guys all over Irvine Regional Park. It was strange at first for me to see them together as I have always known them to be good friends..even through they have been together for quite a while now... but I warmed up to their love quickly and it was so nice to see Moe be so attentive and loving. When Copie called me to tell me that his son was getting married.. ten years after I shot his daughter's wedding.. I WAS THRILLED! I adore Copie and after meeting Brandon... I see where he get's his charm! Diana and Brandon and I had so much fun shooting their engagement at Irvine Regional park. We laughed the whole time! They shared some pretty hard core advice on men's cologne (Did you guys know that you should be storing your cologne in a wine fridge?) I didn't know that? Also these foodies love the same stuff I do... Diana recommended Don Churro to me.. YUM!!!!
