as i try to educate myself on the lore in wuwa, i cant help but find myself curious of other’s wuwa ocs
asaro still needs work and interactions—i do have some ideas for a sentinel, but they’d come with a whole new nation i’ve got to somehow conceptualise, but i digress.
if you have a wuwa oc, tell me! pleaseee i want to know as much as you do about them. i see a lot of great characters on my feed i’d love to know better :)
resonator, non-resonator? where are they from? fortes? names? relationships? beliefs?
i’m still very new to wuthering waves, but i’m making a resonator oc for my partner so he has to be perfect.
his name is asaro kodeia, and i have a few ideas for his over-all character:
• asaro hails from rinascita wherein he is from ragunna city. he is the fourth-born son of clan kodeia, a wealthy family of architects and stonemasons… they had a prominent hand in developing rinascita’s early infrastructure when its first inhabitants fled to escape the lament. clan kodeia are often referred to as “the landlords (of rinascita)”.
• asaro eventually grew tired of the mundane and sought out the fractsidus, wherein he desired more power as a resonator. following a winding experimentation process, asaro was deceived by overseer scar and disfigured.
• because of asaro’s dealings with the fractsidus, which were leaked to clan kodeia by scar himself, asaro was cast out from his family and blacklisted from ragunna city.
• asaro wandered rinascita for two weeks and three days before discovering the peninsula home to raziel’s convent. in need of care and nurture, asaro submitted to raziel’s doctrines and swore himself to the seraph god, becoming his first disciple.
physical condition
• asaro possesses the physique typical of a resonator. his tacet mark sits vertically on his posterior right thigh.
• asaro’s right mandibular ramus, angle and body is entirely missing skin, muscles, capillaries and arteries, and this condition continues downward at various degrees toward his chest and right arm. there is a large scar through asaro’s left eye that continues upward through his brow toward his hairline. like the anomaly through his jaw, this surgical scarring has exposed bone which has been stained a deep black-grey.
• asaro has the ability to eerily mimic sounds. the deceptive experimentation has rendered asaro almost entirely unable to “use his own voice”, in a viable sense: speaking without utilising a mimicked spectrum of other voices or sounds is a difficult affair with a growling/groaning quality. asaro effectively communicates by “stringing together” certain sounds and phrases he has previously heard in order to curate a feasible response (like bumblebee with his radio!). why he is unable to speak properly with his true voice and speak properly with another’s is the subject of conversation amongst members of the convent.
• asaro is a congenital resonator—he possesses a non-convergent rabelle’s curve.
i may have some more ideas, but these are it for now.

i know a little bit about sobeknesef because i am a world-class snooper and i love reading about other people’s boys. i enjoy reading the content you make for him, and i think you are quite a talented writer and artist!
moving on, i wrote asaro as having qualities following disciplined knighthood, as asaro is a self-proclaimed knight and follows etiquette and chivalry, however twisted these ideals may be.
that sobeknesef is a blacksmith who makes weapons and armour, i’m presuming, asaro would find this profession quite honorable! there is discipline in tempering blades and shaping them out, a skill asaro can safely say that he does not have, and so he will value this in a friend, or at the very least, in an acquaintance.
asaro also understands the compartmentalisation of bad memories that sobeknesef has a habit of, as asaro does this as well. losing oneself, causing the deaths of people one holds dear, losing oneself to the past and thereby being unable to truly experience the present or be excited for the future… asaro understands this part of sobeknesef.
there is also something noble in being a pathfinder, someone who wishes for his people to branch out in search of new ways of living. asaro would definitely respect that sobeknesef would want to serve his community by facilitating this.
physically, as far as first impressions go, asaro would definitely be quite alarmed by sobeknesef’s size! sobeknesef is quite tall, as asaro is very tall himself, and he’d find our blacksmith’s tail to be quite interesting! he’s seen people, and resonators therefore, with chimeric qualities, so he’d definitely think it noteworthy, but he wouldn’t judge. as with sobeknesef’s prosthetic hand, asaro honestly kdksks would really love the thought of knowing someone who lost limbs like he did, especially because he and sobek lost them in the same way, i think—during battle, and during an overclocking mishap.
all in all,
i think asaro and sobeknesef would get along quite nicely. asaro is rather forthright and reckless, ruthless and bloodthirsty at the best of times, but he’s also lost a lot. the two of them have a lot in common.

Anyways- Daniyal is one of my OCs who as of right now (because we don’t have in game lore on it yet) is one of the main Fractsidus founders.
And Cryptid and I have had a running gag that while Dahlia (his wife) and Raziel are at each others throats but will begrudgingly cooperate- Dani and Asaro probably get along fairly peacefully in comparison :3

asaro does not like the fractsidus, and revels in being able to take the lives of lower-ranking fractsidus artificers when they step out of line when the fractsidus deal with the convent.
asaro is like an agitated lion … a hungry agitated lion. most days, he only needs half a reason to strike, but if you catch him on a bad day, just looking at him is reason enough. many agendas are behind his reasons—sure, protect raziel and loyal members of the convent come into play, but a valid reason to him can purely just be “i don’t like you”.
however! i like the juxtaposition that raziel and dahlia begrudgingly cooperate and daniyal and asaro get along quite peacefully.
… i’d love to discuss with you how asaro and daniyal came to get along with one another, as daniyal likely needed to perform some sort of grand placation first, as again, asaro does not like the fractsidus and just tolerates them.

[The halls echo with each footstep, stirring up stagnant air. Whirls of dust kick up with every movement… this place feels deeply wrong]

This facility is particularly small, by the looks of it. This hallway is comparatively large, though. I’ve finally reached what appears to be the central chamber after walking for a short while.

[The doors to the central chamber are askew: it appears as though the left hand-side is fully extended closed, but the right hand-side is completely torn off. It lays on the floor before you, scorched with something that still burns. It smells of rust and iron]

[As you step inside the rectangular room, its purpose seems to be more apparent—this is an observation chamber. There are empty swivel seats against control panels, likely for scientists to observe whatever… or whoever… was down there. The Pangu Terminal, despite its best efforts, struggles to illuminate the space beyond the shattered observation window]
There has to be a way to turn on the—
[Haphazardly pressing buttons, the chamber itself roars to life as its reaches fill with obnoxious white light. Energy reached the chamber so fast and without warning that you raise your hands to cover your eyes, adjusting to the sudden assault]
This place is… bizarre.
[The room, now illuminated, seems to have been lashed with very precise cuts that continue to smoulder with a powerful frequency, and the window leading outward into the main circular holding room is entirely shattered. Beyond, as though by some sort of intervention, this holding room seems impervious to the light. In the middle of the room, a raised junction seems to have some sort of… object upon its pedestal. It takes up most of the broad board, with some of it slinking downward in a mass that pooled down the stairs leading up to it. You can’t really make it out]
[You feel some relief, though, that comparative to the central holding chamber, the observation room is raised, looking down into instead of straight ahead.]

Suspended from the ceiling of the room is a male humanoid figure, hanging by what appears to be sickles attached to chains perforated through various parts of his chest, right arm, and head.]
[Below stands Fractsidus artificers, a group of seven, congregating around the central junction of the holding room as this man hoisted by chains is slowly lowered. In the observation room, Overseer Scar stands readily, watching the occurrence below, seemingly right where you are standing currently]

[One of the Artificers breaks away from the congregation to operate the lone door to the holding room, just as this man touches down onto the raised junction and slumps upon its surface, seemingly unresponsive. By way of the control panel, the automatic doors breeze open to reveal an exasperated young man of]
[The yoSACRIFICEung man steps closer to the unidentified Resonator on the pedestal, and the screen view is momentarily obscured as the Fractsidus Artificers begin to file out of the chamber]
