Had old university friends visiting this weekend, together with getting and passing my oldest’s stomach bug on to our friends(there is not a big enough apology and get well soon card for that one), so didn’t get much done, and it also means that today I’ll be at home doing admin rather than doing anything too vigorous. Sometimes it can feel that one’s role as a parent is to reassure one’s children that everything will be ok even if you don’t know whether or not it will.
