15 • ♥ Do they enjoy talking to their partners before going to sleep or is it straight to dreamland?
It depends on how much he or his partner has been working. On worst days, he might fall asleep the instant his head hits the pillow, or he’ll sneak into bed when he’s partner is already asleep (aka he did that all the time with Cheryl).
But in general, he does enjoy chattering with his loved ones before actually going to bed. It’s one of the moments when he can be however he wants to with his lover(s) these days, after all.
16 • ♥ Do they have at least one bonding activity they devote to doing with their partner exclusively?
Depends on what you define as a bonding activity. Otto and Adrian mostly work on the Doc’s criminal schemes and gadgets, while Adrian and Electro seem to just in generally get snuggly when they have time together. Not that they don’t form evil cuddle piles on their spare time, but you know, first two of this OT3 are workaholics…
17 • ♥ What sort of characteristics or quirks draw them to someone?
Adrian in his older years dreads very carefully with people. He warms up slowly and you really need to prove you’re not out there to simply get under his skin and hurt him. He will stick with you, once he feels like you’re a friend.
Besides that, he doesn’t outright look for people he’d want to date. All of his loves have come to him after knowing the person for a long time, but he likes strong people, perhaps ones little more assertive than him. It didn’t make him crush any less on Otto before his accident, however. The man was a sweet marshmallow.
18 • ♥ Do they have a ‘type’?
Not really. Cheryl, Otto and Electro are all very different people, perhaps at most linked by their assertive nature. Especially with Otto and Elly, Adrian is just glad there are people who are willing to get to know him on his terms, let alone love him.
19 • ♥ What was their first impression about their partner/person they are courting?
With Otto, Adrian was surprised over how short and shy he was. With Electro, he thought he was a rash brat for the longest time.
20 • ♥ How did their relationship start?
As an OT3, it was an accident, in all honesty. Electro had made his advances well known towards Otto in contrast to Adrian, who had spent years without saying anything over it. The bird man still didn’t exactly take it well that Max was going after Otto, since he’d been there first and all the mounting tension from that came down as a fight in Adrian’s room over it.
Surprisingly, the fight ended with the two having a heart to heart moment, Adrian showing the sparkplug a different side of him and Elly giving back to that. After that, they confessed ‘together’, to Ock’s surprise. Both of them had thought other one would be left in the dust, but Otto decided to have them both instead.
After a year or so, Adrian and Electro completed the triangle by confessing their feelings to each other.
A strange journey, in all honesty…
