hi nice to meet u! i'm late but what's new 🤝 anw this is my boy inha/antithesis, like to plot and here's a tl;dr:

mutation: persuasion

dad was a purist cult leader which inha escaped from when he was 18

when his dad found out he was a mutant, he chopped off his hand! was planning to chop off both but luckily he only managed one b4 inha killed him <3

inha has a weird complex abt said hand. keeps its bones w him everywhere he goes

anw, he's been on the run ever since, but never aligned himself w anyone bc he can't rly trust. relies on himself for the most part, currently works as a valet boy at a fancy schmancy hotel (but he rly just steals things from their cars for his own benefit)

also kind of still hasn't come to terms w himself being a mutant? bc admittedly a part of him still "hates" mutants since that's what was ingrained in him ever since he was a kid and he's seen them being killed all the time. though he never really bought into it growing up since he honestly couldn't see what the big deal was, that shame n guilt still exists now that he's. well. actually one too

basically indifferent to anything that doesn't directly concern him...... don't expect too much from him to be ur saviour or anything if u get into trouble bc he just ain't into that kind of life! doesn't care about much except keeping himself warm, well fed, and his wallet fat

as u can probably tell, not a touchy feely kind of dude, calculative but just to survive u feel? also super jaded but only because he’s made it this far

honestly just a plethora of people he ghosts

aye so this is gijoon—or placebo, whicheva—your local drug dealer/junkie. i have no pages up and prob won’t get any up anytime soon (sorry) so i’ll try to be as descriptive as possible here!

tldr; good christian boy turned into angry @ humans/basically the world junkie. he feels highly cheated by the hand he was dealt after everything and has since then kind of given up on being “good”. moved to busan in his early twenties and ended up getting hooked on kick/dealing it.

personality wise, kind of “casual” but in a way where he’s like ,, difficult to talk to (with strangers). so being in sales like roping in new buyers is more opium’s job than his (he fucking sucks just try the shit or leave damn). with friends he’s perfectly fine though. on kick, he’s even better. impulsive type, hates humans, so occasionally is known to slip through crowds and cause them hallucinations to fuck with them a lil (yeah, opium don’t@@him). kinda eternally grouchy but that’s just bc he’s been burned too many times ... gotta soft spot here somewhere im sure ;/

connects wanted:

OPIUM — one of his partners in the drug dealing ring. opium is trying to make sure placebo stays in place and doesn’t do anything to draw attention to them, knowing how impulsive the other can be.

MORPH — they met at a mutant house party and while morph turned down the offer of taking kick, he still has placebo’s number in his phone.

HUNTER — after bumping into each other in a pro-mutant rally (which he was forced to go to), hunter offered placebo a spot in the underground if he would clean up his act. but he couldn’t care less and would rather let others do the fighting for him.

 a little info to add on from his bio...

hunso is the bored rich kid that everyone learns to hate because he’s ruthless and a lot of the times doesn’t care about your feelings.

money hungry thanks to the great example of his parents (not like they wanted him to be this way, but you know, kids!)

used to hate himself for being mutant and now hates his dad for making him hate himself all these years and hates humans for damaging his father in such way; doesn’t help that he heard a lot of shit talking over the years from humans.

group of burnouts from high school taught him how to love himself (a little too much) and used his powers for mischief!

used to not want to inherit his mother’s trade business, but suddenly had a change of heart because his own business will spread mr worldwide with the company to hide behind.

some possible connections right off the bat...

someone he knew from his private high school; perhaps one of the kids from the group that taught him to feel ok about himself and use his powers!? *this could perhaps be a FRIEND!?

ECLIPSE — a familiar face he loves to taunt and tease. DEAD GIRL — opium and dead girl have a deal. borrowed muscle for five minutes of his time per transaction. it’s no big deal to him; neither he or placebo are offensive types and when the dead comes to collect, no one’s going to say no.

the v in vertigo stands for vibing... but in moderation since she has yet to be with the rest of the mutants underground. she lives on a “making ends meet” basis, really can’t help the chase in this cat-and-mouse game she has going on with both knpa and sentinel services. if she dies, she dies! you caught her slipping

but she has NOT yet, so there’s that.
