I'm finally free of jury duty what an exhausting five months
Managed to unanimously get just enough guilty verdicts for him to face heavy and reasonable consequences but god it was hung for almost every other charge because 1-2 holdouts with absolutely sickening inability to believe the victims
It's fine, it was as much as was needed to get him off the streets, dude was literally a textbook serial predator getting women drunk and orchestrating awkward situations where they were too afraid to say no and scared to report because of how screwed our justice system is
And he tried TO RUN???? Absolute idiot finally has to reckon with reality for his vile actions, despicable
I hate that the only punitive action is prison because it obviously won't improve him as a person but when the alternative is just letting him roam free I have to accept it as a juror
I can finally sleep knowing he isn't going to be free to continue abusing and assaulting women, it was legit keeping me up at night, because if we hadn't gotten that 12th utter dumbass to accept that he was ignoring jury instructions and irrefutable proof on just those 3 counts we managed to get out of 17, they might have been forced to retrial
It's finally over. Now if I can just get HIRED PLEASE
