I was on Junkertown with a friend a few hours before WreckingBall/Hammond was added to the PTR, looking at clues we might have missed and I remember showing her that some items on the map produced blue sparks when shot at.
A few hours after Hammond was added to the PTR, I go back to check Junkertown and, big surprise : two of the three types of items that used to produce blue sparks now also produce pink sparks !
I’m 99% sure it was just blue sparks, on the three types of items, before Hammond. My friend also remembers only blue sparks.
The top left thing hasn’t been updated with pink sparks, somehow, so you can still see what it used to look like before the pink sparks were added !

So you see, they didn’t switch the blue sparks with pink ones, they added pink ones on top of the blue ones. It’s not a glitch, it’s deliberate. And it came just as Hammond was released. Which can’t be a coincidence. Could they be something that Hammond, the mechanic, built or kept from Horizon’s Lunar Colony?
I don’t know for sure what it could mean. It could be a map tease, a hero tease, an event tease. Pink electrical sparks are odd. Pink doesn’t belong in Junkertown x)
Those items themselves feel out of place. They seem way too high tech for the place. Everything in Junkertown is covered in dirt/dust/rust/others, but those three types of items look almost brand new. Did Junkers steal/find them somewhere and kept them without knowing what to do with them? Or do they serve a purpose? Junkers seem like the compulsive hoarder type. Bruce especially. Maybe those were traded/given to the Junkers by another faction or a company.
I’m sure we’ll find out soon™. Give it a year. Or three.

I know the leak is most likely fake but...what if...right?
Why on Junkertown? We’ve had 3 heroes linked to that map already, would they release a 4th?
This does not mean it’s necessarily something linked to Junkertown. Remember the licence plate teasing Brigitte’s release date? That plate was on Junkertown and Brigitte has nothing to do with Australia whatsoever. There were also the movie claps on Hollywood teasing Brigitte’s release date as well and she has nothing to do with Hollywood either. Some clues are put on maps at random and tease entirely unrelated things I guess?
So, as with most “clues”, just wait and speculate in the meantime !
