So the idea I have is Baily used to be part of a group of bards but they ended up clashing heads and they abandoned baily he didn't choose to leave they just left him somewhere or like they got in a huge fight and baily watched them walk off and then angrily was like I'll be a solo show and be great they'll see 😤 and he kinda just stagnated and then also realizes oh they didn't like him that whole time he was with them they had been talking bad about him and pretty much betrayed him and it really fucks him up

I want some type of betrayal to happen to him

Ok so if I do the odd and baily were split off from the same God thing I started thinkin about elias being almost both of their mentors more so with odd because he'd be helping them get stronger (and it might be interesting if elias might have passing knowledge of the god being a knight himself) and a mentor to baily more as like a shoulder for him to lean on and he notices all these similarities between the 2

It's almost a one bad day thing odd could've easily been baily if he had gone through the same shit and baily could've easily ended up like odd too all this to say baily, odd, and elias poly relationship jdjfjjf

I'm still not quite sure if I want to do the whole split from the same god thing tho I find it interesting but is it too much the end game would be more so self love/acceptance these 2 lived their own lives and are there own people they would never be recombined

🤔 if I go the sword and shield route tho they could've been items that gained sentience hmmmm elias being the one to bring them together and wield them 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔 hmmmmmmmmmmm

Thinking about when characters first show up at sylias tavern

Baily is the first for sure not sure exactly how it goes down but 1 idea if that he's at his worst he's been hopping between places drinking as much as he can before he ends up getting kicked out maybe he just ends up at sylias and she sees something in him and decides to help gives him a place to stay and perform

Next would be the trio they just stopped there to rest but end up stopping by more and more as they travel around or maybe they needed something from sylia at one time 🤔 they're def more passing through then anything they don't work for sylia but I could see them gathering ingredients for her sometimes

Odd works as sort of a security gaurd for sylia after joining he'd def join later on I see him as someone that was just aimlessly wandering around with no purpose in life and sylia found him collapsed near the tavern and helped him

Sylias tavern is a place for the down trodden and desolate she's there to help the outcasts but she's also a witch and she's gonna fuck with you if she likes you djjdjfjf she makes potions in the back and it's almost like a blackmarket you go to her if you really need something

If I do more with the slime girl she'll def be a maid/assistant to sylia

Not sure about if ill do anything with the pixie tho if they'll be connected

Thinkin about baily at work like there's this profound sadness around him but deep down he's so so very angry

I think thats something that he wouldn't like coming out that he bottles up even more how much he hates his former band how much he hates himself for letting them use him how much he misses them even tho they were awful to him all this hate that's in his heart

And it def sneaks out in the way he acts or says things sometimes

And thinking about elias/ame/willow coming into his life too I feel he was stagnant at this point after sylia helped him up a bit like he wasn't improving but he technically wasn't getting worse either and when those 3 show up he actually starts to change (mostly for the better but like I gotta give him bad days too djjdjdjd) they show him that he does matter and that there's people that do care about him

Thinkin about Elias I see him really getting along with Baily and Ame and Willow would tease him about it that he likes the new bard

Baily has a crush on elias for sure but it scares him so he doesn't really pay it any mind he just doesn't want to end up in another situation like his band (which that would never happen with elias)

Elias' background is that he comes from a long line of knights that have worked for Ames family but he's always been more sensitive and soft hearted so he was made fun of and left out a lot and then a growth spurt hit him and he became HUGE brick wall he's kind of the gentle giant trope but he can be scary when he needs to be especially protecting his friends he's a beast when he's on the battle field

Soooooo bailys ex band mates There's 3 other members besides him no names for now but I don't want to give them too much attention they all were "friends" with baily only on the condition that he was useful for them one girl was semi dating baily but he was basically a pet for her to do with as she pleases and baily was desperate for attention those 3 had all been his friends for the longest time he wanted to beleive they cared about him but they really didn't he was an annoyance to them and they backstabbed him multiple times and eventually he's able to break free from it and leave but it destroys him in the end

I'm thinkin something happens that finally puts baily at his breaking point for bullshit he'll put up with and he's like that it im done I'm leaving were not friends anymore it'd be freeing but also so so scary and he stumbles and falls but he's making real friends now at sylias tavern :3 and they'll help him up

So like Baily has def been in jail a couple times in different places for public intoxication / just being a nuisance under the influence wherever he is

Like I can see him either being kicked out of a tavern and drunkenly wandering the streets or just wandering out on his own and making a mess of things or even causing fights in the tavern

It's a coin toss of which baily you'll get when he's drunk either happy go lucky or incredibly sad and angry

I kind of like the idea that Sylia has met him before on his travels and recognizes him in a jail and is like alright ill bite what's his story jdjdjdj and gives him a permanent entertainment position at her bar

So ame is actually a real princess I haven't thought much about her family but I like the idea that she ran away with willow to have adventures and elias found them while they were escaping and ends up joining them

I do like the idea of elias being chosen by ame to be her knight but he doesn't interact with her a lot until she leaves the castle and I see gum not being as favored as other knights so people are surprised she chose him (it's because he's always been kind to her whenever they've crossed paths)

And ame picked willow out to be her maid too willow I imagined it as willow was a street urchin Ame picked up but idk if I like that or not might go the way of willow was already a maid in service for ames family and ended up with ame when they were both children
