hope you have a great day Vanessa and Serial designation T.also I hope you both enjoy the questions.
A basic summary would be the episode remains mostly the same, with some things shifted around to better suit the characters and overall story.
As for a much longer answer… ooh boy I got a lot to say. Of course, I will try to summarize. All of that will be under the cut if you wish to read!
Apologies in advance for taking a while to answer and if this sounds messy! I’m no writer and I had to properly formulate my ideas in order to answer this lmao
Obviously the exposition is the same, as is the opening scene. Cyn does her presentation, shows off her railgun, railgun blows up, landing Cyn in the nurse’s office.
This scene changes slightly, as to better suit characters. Beau talks to Cyn, trying to be of comfort and to politely turn down her ideas. Her goal is mostly revenge and to get Liz’s respect, to which Beau suggests there’s better ways to gain Liz’s respect and to just drop the revenge idea. Cyn pushes him away a lot more, acts defensive, and eventually storms off.
Cyn attempts to sneak out, only to be caught by Liz. Cyn then comes up with the excuse of wanting to see how the doors work, suggesting that she wants to get into engineering and join the WDF. Despite her level-headed attitude, Liz genuinely believes this and lets Cyn outside, thinking she’s finally changes for the better. (This is obviously not the case)
Cyn arrives at the corpse spire base, collecting the piece for her railgun and also to snoop around a bit. Just then, D arrives. Cyn hides, and while attempting to sneak away, D spots her.
The scene of N attacking Uzi would remain the same, only D is more aggressive and because of a minor miscalculation, Cyn would get the chance to blow her head off. D’s head regrows and she questions Cyn. Only thing is that D speaks Russian and Cyn doesn’t.
Cyn uses this as a chance for get answers, and figures out that they could communicate through morse code. Seeing as someone could finally talk to her, D invites Cyn inside the landing pod for a nice talk.
Cue D’s introduction to T and A. D describes T as lovable, but somewhat overbearing. She mentions how up until now T has been the only one trying to communicate with her. This bit with V would remain the same except for a much friendlier tone.
D would then talk about A, saying she’s the most violent of the three and also the most annoying. She ends up shit-talking A and accidentally lets it slip that A is the one receiving orders and has confirmed that it’s not from humans.
Surprised by this revelation, Cyn presses D into giving more answers. She also slips in bits of rebellion and some “subtle” attempts at getting her to stop the killing. D only says that A hides a lot of things from her and T. Before Cyn can press further, T and A arrive, forcing her to flee.
A and T are surprised to see someone like D having been knocked offline. A slaps D back online, where D realizes her mistake. However, D does not give chase. She feels hesitant, since Cyn did find a way to talk to her. Seeing as D wasn’t going anywhere, T instead gives chase. Cyn accidentally leads T to the colony, T breaks in, and cue robot violence.
At some point, Cyn escapes from T, and eventually runs into Liz. Liz is understandably angered that there’s disassembly drones in the base, and before Cyn could explain, D arrives and pins her to the wall. Liz would close the door on Cyn, much like how Khan did to Uzi, but instead of it being out of cowardice, it was out of anger.
D feels sorry for Cyn, and ends up sparing her. A and T arrive, T finds the ventilation shaft, and T heads off. A threatens D to not make a mistake again, or she’ll kill her. A then follows after T, leaving Cyn and D to talk and team up.
This fight would remain the same. D fights T, Cyn fights A. T is more upset at the betrayal, almost taking it personally, and against some better judgement D just spares and captures her. Cyn kills A, refusing to give her a chance to surrender.
Fight finishes, and instead of Uzi banishing herself and telling off Khan, Liz instead is the one to yell at and banish Cyn for endangering the colony and being useless. Cyn, D and newly imprisoned T leave.
The final scene remains the same too, only Cyn instead swears to find out who’s sending out disassembly drones, and gain the respect of the colony. She ends it off with an evil laugh.
