He seems awfully nonchalant if it’s a defensive wound…I think the strongest interpretation is still your first impression of him tormenting someone, or at least having someone else’s blood on him (since it’s really more on his cuff and back of hand, and he does have a sort of questioning look on his face)

Honestly, at this point I don’t know what to think, heh. I love speculating (obviously), but there’s only so much we can get out of such a dark and grainy photo, especially considering how little we know of Hewlett’s circumstances at the time.

But if it is a defensive wound, it could be that he looks so nonchalant because the situation has already been resolved. I was thinking maybe he’s attacked, and the attack is successfully dealt with, and then this is afterward, when he’s discussing the incident with someone else? Or, as I speculated before, it’s the aftermath of a fight? His knuckles do look a bit chafed, as I noted previously, but I can’t tell whether that’s just blood spatter of whether that’s indicative of him punching. Ahaha, I really can’t decide at this point. But I’m eager to find out!

seeing your posts made me miss Turn so I started rewatching it again and now I'm rereading all of your fics oh man...i miss anna and hewlett (and i also remember how much i loved/love your modern AU!!) ;A;

Oh my gosh... Those were good times. Often crazy times, too, but good. And those fics meant a LOT to me, especially LOA, despite that I, uh, never did manage to finish it. I miss Anna and Hewlett and the thriving little fandom Turn had back then... Thank you for bringing back some memories and for your sweet words!! ❤
