Biography:
When Gracie Klein was young, she realized she was different. While her mother pushed her to wear dresses, to play with Barbies, she was never interested in this. Once her mother married her second husband, Omar Torres, and she had a new step-brother to play with, her true nature came out. She preferred mud wrestling with Drew to a tea party any day and once her brother went off to Hogwarts, the things she loved to share with him were put away and she was back to the things her mother wanted her to do. Thankfully, she attended school the next year and it was then that she had a deep realization. She wasn’t Gracie.
He was Adam. It was then that Adam cut his long hair into a short boy cut, asked for a boy’s uniform, and refused to answer to any other name than Adam Torres. He was no longer Gracie Klein, he never would be again. Of course, his mother and step-father were contacted by the Headmaster and Drew, and once they saw how truly serious he was, they accepted it and allowed him to continue on, switching him to a private dorm to avoid drama from peers. Though his mother still had difficulty accepting him, he now accepted himself and felt moderately comfortable in his own skin for the first time in years. Near the end of his third year, he met Unique Adams and as they were in similar situations, became very close friends. Adam is very protective of her and their friend groups intertwined thanks to them.
With the danger of another war on the horizon, Adam is more quiet and reserved about his beliefs. He doesn’t want himself or anyone that he loves to get hurt, and the Order Members and Death Eaters around school class him as an innocent, someone that they either try to persuade to join them or leave alone altogether. He’s a good student, a good boy. He’s happy, which he thinks is all that matters.
