Well, that was a yes. Her head was fuzzy, it hurt. She must have hit it pretty good. She couldn’t think straight, seeming to blank out. She stared at Leon for a long moment, before blinking. Trying to make sense of what he was saying.

She could feel something sticky and warm seeping in her hair. Ah, that would be a pain to clean later… She brought a hand up to her head, trying to get back on track. “Hurt-… Yeah. S-sorry.”

He didn’t know what exactly happened to her, he just saw her in this very state. Though right now, it wasn’t the time to linger into that, she needed to be treated as fast as possible. 

“Take it easy, Solita...” The brunet gently held her shoulders, in case if she would lose her balance. “Do you think you can walk...?”

“Aw, dammit.”

The question made the girl look down, and curse at the side that there did, indeed, seem to be blood down the front of her shirt. It seemed she bled through her bandages before she could run home. She looked up with a slight nervous smile at the stranger, shifting her jacket to cover the slowly-growing stain. “It ain’t. I was just working with paint earlier, and I guess I didn’t realize I got it on me.”

Was she lying..? She had to be, he could... smell it. Blood. Damn that vessel of his, why did he decide to go with a blood mage of all things?! 

...Right, it was the only one intact enough to use. 

“Paint, huh? I guess you knocked a bottle down or something? That’s a shame, that stuff can get expensive,” he replied, rubbing the back of his head. “Oh, um, I’m Dalet. I’m glad you weren’t hurt or anything.”

He had to keep a calm mind... keep Damian asleep. But it was getting so hard with that god damn smell.

A dreary eye glanced from in the comfort of the helmet as the Berserker walked along. Perhaps it wasn’t out of mindless boredom that they traveled, but out of just vague curiosity. “Yes?” spoke the voice of the King, stopping in their tracks as they took note of a person in front of them, ceasing all movement before they could actually walk into them. “Do you need something?”

Para exits the portal, and they find themself standing on an empty street, seemingly in the middle of the night. They glance around cautiously, stepping away from the streetlights. This setting...is highly suspicious, yet somewhat promising...

However, the dimension jumper can’t help but feel paranoid. Who else could be lurking on this dark and empty street? Plus, they themself look very suspicious, giving their clothing. What if they get arrested again?!

“You think we should find a place for it to stay? My apartment doesn’t allow pets.  .  .” The poor kitten sat there, on the empty sidewalk, every clump of fur trembling thanks to the immense cold it felt. No matter how close Anita held it to her chest, it continued to shake and quietly mewl. The rain didn’t help, but she had found an awning to duck under for the moment. When a stranger had passed and taken interest in the poor kitten, Anita had hoped that they would take it.
