What would it be likeee if s/o having to be frustrated over a failure that they blamed themselves and hide in their room that Hanzo/Mccree/Genji comfort them and tell them that its alright. Imagine please :D thank you~
Hanzo He hears the front door slam shut, the sound of you kicking your shoes off against the wall, and then the subsequent slam of the bedroom door. Hanzo pauses, the cup of green tea momentarily forgotten on the countertop as he edges towards the door. He presses his ear against the door, the dragons coiling uneasily in the air above him. He leans away, measures the risk, and gently lets himself in. And he initially doesn’t see you, the dragons breeze into the room and hover around the trembling blanket wedged in the closet, poking at it curiously. Hanzo smiles, watching your hand peek out and shoo them away, only for them to duck inside.
“(Y/N)?” he ventures over, kneeling in front of you. You freeze up, having not heard the door open.
“Hi,” you offer weakly.
“Did something happen?” Hanzo continues, moving in beside you, watching you drag the blanket off your head.
“Yes.”
“Would you…like to talk about it?”
“Not really. I messed up today, I could’ve avoided the whole issue if I wasn’t such an idiot.” You answer bitterly, dropping against his shoulder with a sigh.
“You’re not an idiot.” Hanzo frowns. “You’re one of the most wonderful people I’ve ever met.”
“Oh, stop it.” You look down at the floor, feeling your cheeks redden despite your best interests.
“I mean it, (Y/N). It was a bad day, and bad days will pass.” He consoles, draping an arm around your shoulder. You sigh again and Hanzo plants a kiss on the top of your head. “But perhaps you’d indulge me in sharing some tea?”
“Yeah, I’d like that.”
McCree He’s sitting on the couch with Hana when the team returns from their mission, spying a seething Solder 76 pull you aside. There’s a quick surge of indignance in your expression, making McCree smile a bit, but as the conversation drags on, it slips off your face. He can’t hear what’s being said but when Soldier 76 turns away, he sees you inhale a quivering breath and disappear upstairs, jogging and then full on bolting for your room with a barely concealed slam of your door. McCree’s eyes slide over to 76 as Mercy tends to a wound on his shoulder, he frowns and gets off the couch, waiting for the older man to look up at him before he moves towards your room.
“(Y/N)?” he knocks on your door. There isn’t an answer. “I know you’re in there, sweetheart, and I’m coming in now.”
The room’s dark but he can see the outline of your body flat along the bed, curled up on your side with a pillow pushed against your face. He can see you trembling and he half turns around to give Soldier 76 a piece of his mind. But his gaze softens and he shuts the door behind him, flicking on the small nightlight and sitting down beside you.
“Hey now,” he whispers, pushing his hand pass the pillow and wiping the hair off your face. “Rough mission?”
You nod fiercely and McCree shuffles over and pulls you up into his chest. You hold back the onslaught of tears long enough to explain how you were guarding the payload, how Junkrat and Roadhog suddenly burst in out of nowhere in a blaze of perverse glory. There was a woman and her small child, you didn’t want them to get hurt, and in saving them, the Aussie’s made off with the payload. Soldier 76 didn’t seem to care about the potential loss of life, he’d made that perfectly clear.
“Fussy old bugger, ain’t he?”
“Fucking huge asshole,” you sob angrily. “I want-wanted to hit him so b-bad.”
“Don’t you worry, I’ll straighten him out later.” McCree leans up against the wall, cradling you in his lap and gently rubbing your back. “But I gotta look after my own first.”
Genji The ninja feels a distinctly tense aura in the air once he returns from his mission, spying a decidedly stoic Zarya and Reinhart staring the TV down as Ana and Mercy prepare dinner. Hanzo sits at the massive table alone and his perfectly calm expression seems completely divorced from the rest of the room. Cocking his head as Hana and Lucio move into the room where the MEKA pilot spots Genji and practically crashes into him, a conspiratory look on her face. Lucio takes a seat a little way away from Hanzo as the diva starts talking.
“Your brother and your lover had one hell of a fight today.”
“What?” A thick sense of dread drapes itself across Genji’s shoulder.
“Mission was a success but something must’ve happened. They haven’t left their room since we got back yesterday.”
Genji thanks Hana and moves into the hallway where the dorms are located, his dragon zipping ahead and passing through the door into your room. He gently allows himself inside, seeing the dragon wiggle its way around your neck.
“Welcome home.” You say numbly and Genji shuts the door.
“I’m home.” He replies with a frown, sitting down beside you. “What happened?”
“Nothing happened.”
“(Y/N).”
“Look, your brother had some opinions and I had some opinions. We had a disagreement over them where I may have threatened to shove Storm Bow up his ass.”
“Over what exactly?” Genji says, forcing himself not the laugh at the image suddenly conquered into his mind.
“I don’t want to talk about it right now. I’ve been trying not to be angry and destructive and just…I’ll tell you later.”
“Would you like to mediate?”
“Gods, yes.”
