What the fuck do people hate Kite for? Wha?
voted problematic for punching a toddler <3
ok tho i honestly have no idea i think the major thing was “acted terribly with the kids” which is true but also 1) he is not real. he is fictional character he’s in like 20 chapters or smth 2) we’re talking about the guy whos only friends and family up to age teen were dogs who had to guide two kids who literally teleported on him in the middle of hostile territory with 0 warning like no wonder he sucked at it a bit i dont think he has the capacities for handling it nor signed up for it in the first place
i think he’s a very endearing background character who has a lot of potential to be made fun of. i too died once and came back without a gender
My HC request is the reactions of the rest of Black Eagles when F!Byleth and Edelgard announce your marriage to them. :3
under the cut for length!
While Edelgard and Byleth are both reserved in their own ways, the two of them feel giddy with excitement about announcing their engagement and subsequent wedding to the Black Eagles. It’s something nice to grab onto after what everyone had just been through, so even though Edelgard is a bit nervous, all it takes is a smile from Byleth to convince her it's a good idea. It's not as if their friends hadn't noticed their relationship was more than that of just friendship — but it was unheard of for royalty to marry someone who didn't have the possibility to provide an heir to the throne. Edelgard, though, did not care. She had never cared for that aspect and was unwilling to give Byleth up for something like that — especially after the radical change they had all just fought for.
Hubert, of course, already knew. As Edelgard's faithful vassal, he had noticed long ago that Edelgard held deep romantic feelings for Byleth. With time, his opinion of Byleth had improved, especially after she chose to stay by Edelgard's side all those years ago. Though no one would ever call Hubert sentimental, he expresses his happiness for the two of them in private and by assuring that he'll handle *anyone* who has something off-kilter to say. (Being that it is Hubert, rest assured Edelgard and Byleth won't even hear a word of any negativity before he... disposes of the issue.)
Bernadetta is anxious and excited all at once. Byleth and Edelgard are getting married! But that means she'll have to go in public. To a wedding *full* of people. Her excitement is renewed when the pair let Bernadetta know they'll be having a small and private ceremony in addition to the 'royal' wedding that's expected to be held. (As much as Edelgard wants to buck the tradition, she knows it has some political merit. And hey, maybe she wants to see Byleth in a big fluffy dress.) To celebrate, Bernadetta makes them beautiful embroidery to commemorate their love.
Caspar, like always, is enthusiastic. He shouts and picks up Byleth to spin her around in excitement, and after Edelgard's grumbling he shouts and picks her up too. He's not too keen on being super mushy, but his happiness is infectious and it's clear that he's more than happy for the two of them. Caspar offers to be the muscle for the wedding if they need it! Though they'd rather have him enjoy the wedding from his seat... It's better to just let Caspar roam around and look tough.
Dorothea is *ecstatic*. She's planning the wedding the second the words leave Edelgard's mouth — not that she didn't already know about the two of them anyways. Dorothea loves love, especially when it involves two of her very closest friends. With their permission, Dorothea happily takes over the job of wedding planning. Byleth is... Well. Byleth isn't great at wedding planning and Edelgard is just as bad. Dorothea admonishes them that they're acting more like they're planning a battle than a wedding! Still, her teasing is all in good fun and she gives the two enough confidence to make decisions for their wedding.
Ferdinand is both excited and grumpy. *He* wanted to be the first one to get married from the Black Eagles... alas, Edelgard had beaten him once again. Ferdinand has matured since his Academy days and barely dwells on that fact, however, and gives the two a warm & sincere congratulations. He makes sure the two of them have the finest dining at their wedding and makes absolutely sure both Edelgard and Byleth's favorite tea is available in abundance.
Linhardt... Well, Linhardt is Linhardt. He almost falls asleep when Edelgard tells him, though it's not out of a lack of happiness for the two of them. Romance is far from his mind, so he never really thought about anyone getting married, whether it be himself or his friends. Linhardt is happy to quietly and sleepily support Byleth and Edelgard from the sideline. He even manages to show up to the private ceremony *and* wedding on time.
Petra is very excited! Wedding customs in Brigid are different from those in Fódlan, so she's both very happy for her friends and very interested in experiencing something new. She's happy to provide her support in whatever way she can, and if Dorothea has her way, Petra tags along for the wedding planning endeavors. The four of them make quite the strange team, but it works! At the actual wedding, if Byleth and Edelgard throw a bouquet, Petra topples over everyone to get to it. (And hands it to Dorothea, earning a smile and a genuine blush.)

the KKB station fucking sucks, it’s Mount Eerie, Death Grips, JPEGMAFIA, and like Macross lmao
while that’s a complete shitshow of a station, any of those other artists would honestly have been a smoother transition than going from
“life looks better when you’re on your trampoline”
to
“death is real. someone’s there and then they’re not.”
like i can’t think of any other song that has made me feel the way that every song on a crow looked at me has and that feeling is the polar opposite of what i’m after from kkb
