Part 2
on our first day we went to Odusan Unification Observatory. from there, you can get a glimpse of North Korea
this is inside their museum
next we went to this artsy village - the Heyri Art Valley 헤이리 예술마을
some of our cameras ran out of batteries or some were saved for later so we just depended on their phone cams (low quality i know) pero sige lang basta may picture for memories sake. this cafe served me the most expensive coffee i had ever bought in my whole life. it was really cold and i needed hot coffee. i know it’s cheap for some of you guys and it actually tasted nice, but still! i never thought i’d buy a P350 mocha latte. i’ll let it be na lang since i dont get to taste good korean coffee everyday.
so we had a hearty lunch after. it was my first time to eat at an authentic korean barbeque resto! yey!
we also stopped by at ODBO - a makeup store. we’re not allowed to take pics inside.
we were surprised to meet a Filipina salesperson there and she showed us some of their products. i bought a hair spray, facial masks, and hand creams. i'm impressed how Koreans prioritize skin care so much.
next stop is LOTTE World! it’s like korea’s version of Disneyland. oh have i mentioned how freaking cold it was?! temperature went down to 5 °C! i had like 4 layers of clothes and had to wear gloves bc it was really cold for me (i mean i’m from a tropical country, what do you expect?) thankfully Lotte World was kinda warm enough for us.
