1:What did you do in 2014 that you’d never done before?

Hmm, loads of things! I'm gonna pick... going to therapy. I hadn't ever been to therapy but I had anxiety/depression issues this fall and so I could use some help. It's been a good learning experience, and I'm a psychology student so it's good that I've had therapy before I end up giving people therapy :) (Also I'm doing much much better now in terms of mental health - don't know if that's due to the therapy, but still.)

25:What was your greatest musical discovery?

Oh dear, hard question. Does "I freaking love acapella" count as a musical discovery? Four other people and I started an acapella group this year, and it's awesome. Another musical discovery is that one of my friends (you know who you are!) makes playlists and is willing to give them to me, because she has awesome taste. From that, I've discovered Bastille, which has been a good discovery, and most recently, Taylor Swift (whom I've somehow barely listened to until now, but I have a feeling that's about to change, because: Blank Space).

you can like something despite the fact that it has some shitty and problematic aspects. you can enjoy a show, and be critical of it. There's really no problem with that. Just don't defend shitty aspects of it, just because you like the show (and thats what marit is doing if you ask me, so yaay great) [2/2]

doctor who has really bad episodes and really good episodes

it also has really good aspects like saying that everyone is important and good messages and then they also have some things that you might question that it is homophobic/sexist/racist etc. 

and to throw in a doctor who quote: is a pile of good things and bad things. the good things don't always soften the bad things, but vice-versa, the bad things don't necessarily spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
