it’s the sun, silly! according to some stories that have been passed down, some of our previous leaders have even been able to see what the sun looks like when it’s not just a big ball of light, and it was most often described like this. for generations the sun has protected us and this land so long as we - the ‘children of the sun’ - continue to uphold our faith and traditions. now how about this one?

yeah, that’s the altar! it’s where we commune with the sun and receive its blessings with ceremonies and stuff. we have different ceremonies, but the one you’ll probably be getting is the same one everyone in the covenant gets - a rite of passage of sorts. usually clan members who’re born here get it when they come of age, but newcomers like me get one, too. the blessing we get from the sun enhances our abilities, so we can...?
