It's been so cold. It's been so cold our fingers have frozen so we can't really write or update the blog take photos or any of that business. It's been so cold we've bought thousands of layers of strange woolen garments and Harriet has taken to wearing school shoes. It's been so cold Baxter has refused to walk to the park or get out of the car. 

It's been so cold we've become incredibly lazy. Sorry. Some reading for you below and some pics from sunnier clims will pop up soon.

Baxter and the cops

We're in Mexico. There are a lot of tasty tacos here. There are also a lot of men in cowboy hats, bulky utes rolling down the narrow streets, buckets of guacamole and salsa, multi-coloured papier-mâché skulls in shop windows, images of the sun, cacti, mariachi bands, and cops - loads and loads of cops.

In Mexico City, where we have spent most of our time so far, you see them in their polished uniforms with guns at their side standing on just about every street corner. You see them in squares, you see them outside shops, you see them sitting in restaurants having a coffee and a well-earned break… more here
