Introduction To: Daemonia
Genre; Fantasy, Comedy, LGBT
Just a self-indulgent twist on modern fantasy tropes. Daemonia primarily follows three characters and their intersecting social circles.
Primrose Cante and her kingdom of Cantever were cursed with eternal slumber. Primrose awoke in the ruins 500 years later, but the rest of her kingdom remain asleep. She sets out to find an end to her curse, and she meets the free spirited demon Lyra on the way. (Hint: true love’s kiss is still the cure if they could just get their heads out of their asses.)
Damien Denyre is the greatest paladin of the human kingdoms. It was a hard fought effort to reach the strength he had in his previous light as the Hero of Light before he was betrayed by his childhood love. In this new life, he seeks neither vengeance nor power. Honestly, if the human king hadn’t forced him, he wouldn’t even be part of the current Hero of Light’s party. Damien is just having fun on their little adventure and flirting with the strigoi Mace who looks astoundingly like the one who sold him out to die.
Ether Oriens is the current Hero of Light, summoned from another world. After the embarrassing mess that got the previous Hero killed, the Church slammed as many blessings onto him as possible until he was functional immortal. Fast forward two centuries and a dozen failed Final Boss Battles later, Ether is just really tired of the Goddess’s bullshit grievances against the Demon God. Thankfully, it’s surprisingly easy to hide the fact he’s been married to said Demon God for the past few decades.
Also, every single person here is an asshole. Cue the plotting, backstabbing, crimes, and general daily dysfunction.
