your recent tags blasted me into the past. that tutorial book was “Manga Mania Shoujo: How to Draw the Charming and Romantic Characters of Japanese Comics” and I’m just learning now it was written by a man. but like looking at the cover now and seeing that the most well shaded part is this poor girl’s cleavage I feel like I shouldn’t be surprised
