eventually I got used to it, but the dead eyes of most of the NPCs in death stranding push scenes into uncanny valley territory. no light in their eyes. the death stranding really took a toll on its few remaining citizens
#replaying it and the surprise and weight of victor frank seeing his brothers charm is lost in the animatronic movements and expression#of the model#the sequel improves this greatly! so much that it’s even more noticeable with this replay#so far I’m loving the replay though. the gloomy atmosphere and Sam’s occasional comments are missed in 2#vibes are unmatched in 1#yes this is the remains of the US. *shows you foggy Iceland and 15 random celebrities*#this is a criticism but I can’t lie it’s so nonsensical it’s funny
