Annaleigh's face glowed with affection, warmth filling her gaze. "Of course! We're friends aren't we?" She playfully nudged his shoulder with her right hand. She's been meaning to invite him over to her place anyway, as Yomi's never been.

She continues to walk along side him, a backpack resting on her shoulder. Classes have let out for the day and they have a weekend a head of them. "I don't work this evening, if you're not busy you could come see the nursery today." It's her first day off in over a week. Annaleigh has been taking all of the hours she can get at the game shop. Sometimes, she even pulls double shifts, despite her boss telling her not to overwork herself.

Hazel green eyes look at him expectantly, wondering what Yomi's response will be.

He must not recognize me, she realizes. Though to be fair, she wasn't one who spent a lot of time in the spotlight. She tried her best to avoid the paparazzi when she could. Occasionally she might be seen in the tabloids for some rebellious act she did, but that was about it.

A genuine smile spreads across her lips. "You don't know who I am do you?" she asks. Her head tilts to the side, as curiosity fills her gaze. "I'm Pegasus J. Crawford's daughter, Eden." she explains. "I thought I recognized you from an event Mr. Kaiba held that, my father and I attended."

White hair is pushed behind one ear as she stands before him. She's wearing a white polo shirt and a pink plaid skirt. She's also wearing white knee socks and a pair of pink sneakers. "I don't want anything from your boss by the way. I just wanted to say hello." she adds.

The doctor looks at Mokuba with pity in his eyes. Mokuba's grown used to the look, had accepted it as his new reality for a while now. Seto had been gone for over a year, at this point, and most had assumed him to be dead.

Blankly, Mokuba wonders if the doctor also believes Seto's never coming back from his dimensional trip, and is just repeating these things because he gets paid to do it. After all, it's not like he ever says anything new. Vitals are stable, he says, But it doesn't look like he's waking up anytime soon.

Why would he wake up? He can stay in Ancient Egypt with that stupid Pharaoh for all he cares. It's not like he has a little brother waiting for him at home or anything, Mokuba thinks bitterly.

Are you okay, Kaiba-sama? The doctor asks, and Mokuba takes that as his cue to leave. Showing the man a practiced smile, he stands up from his seat and leaves the room, closing the door softly behind him.

He turns to Yomi, who sat on a nearby chair in the hallway. Mokuba says quietly, a blank expression upon his youthful features,

"No changes."

Hazel greens look up from the sketch book in her lap, a graphite pencil in hand. Sketched across the page is a drawing of Witchcrafter Edel, with soft light and dark bits of shading covering the black and white piece.

She smiles appreciatively, noticing the package in his hands. She sits up straighter in her place on the bench, having been waiting there for a ride after school. The pencil is placed into her unzipped pencil case and the case is zipped up. She takes the bag from him. "Thank you. You didn't have to do this for me. Um .... Yomi right?" she questions.

He works for Seto, doesn't he? She remembers seeing him hanging around the teenage CEO a time or two.

Annaleigh pushes a few strands of brunette hair behind one ear. "You can sit beside me, if you want? I'm just waiting on the bus." she comments, motioning to the extra space on the bench. Carefully, she opens the bag peering inside at the contents.

She turns the oven off and bends down, opening the oven's door with a mitt covered hand. The smell of burnt cookies fill her apartment, the teenager frowning deeply as she pulls the baking pan out of her oven. She closes the door with one hand and straightens up her posture.

Annaleigh places the baking pan onto the counter. Then, takes off the oven mitts, placing them next to the pan. She turns her head to look at her friend. "I think I burnt them." she says sheepishly, rubbing the back of her neck. "I'm sorry. I'm not very good at the whole, cooking thing."

Jillian sits behind the check out counter, a manga book in her hands. Green eyes stare at the pages, taking in the beautiful artwork and the japanese text. Fruit flavored gum is in her mouth, the woman softly chewing on it as she does some light reading on the job. She's slumped back in her chair, one leg crossed over the other.

The day has been awfully slow, so she resorted to doing a bit of reading while waiting on customers to show up. You could say she's on a break of sorts.

JINGLE. JINGLE.

The sounds of the door opening catches her attention. Quickly, she sits up straight, thrusting a bookmark into her book and shoving it underneath the counter.

"Hello! Welcome. Is there anything I can help you find today?" she asks, trying to sound cheery.

He, albeit a bit awkwardly, hugs her.

​Lenny's cheeks heat up, turning a vibrant shade of red. "Um, Th-Thank you. I guess?" She doesn't know what to say.

The flames lit up the temple, rotating around until his white robe was illuminated by the flickering flames "So i've been told, welcome." Extending his hands "This temple welcomes all that wishes to have their hearts tested by the Great One."
