moby's quick to withdraw her arm from his grasp the first time he reaches out. when she realizes how pathetic that might come across -that she might be wary of a human- moby makes a quick recovery and pretends she was... simply making herself more comfortable, adjusting herself. her skin prickles at his touch. she doesn't have much experience with doctors, often going out of her way to avoid them or anyone that might try to exploit her physiology, but... was it normal for their hands to be so frigid? the office wasn't even that chilly.
she realizes then that she knows next to nothing about the man in front of her. the association claimed he was "best of the best" but that didn't matter when she didn't trust them either. moby recoils and tugs at her arm.
"a wanderer." the answer is plain, to the point and it doesn't seem like she plans on elaborating further. it's bad enough the shifter flays her arm and alarms the association's concerns over their latest asset but worse yet-- "s' just not healing as fast as i'm used to. just wrap it up and it'll put itself back together." eventually. "gotta eat more is all."
