Alec looked at the other, shaking his head. “You’ve saved my life,” he said, and although the physical was true it wasn’t where Alec’s thoughts resided. Magnus had opened up Alec’s life in a million ways and had allowed him the comfort and piece to be himself. He didn’t know where he’d be without him. “And, with everything I put you through,” he looked down with shame, “I’m the one who should be grateful.”

Date night had gone well for Malec, even if portalling was hard to get used to. Alec put his one bag down after an Italian dinner and shopping spree with Magnus,as he came up behind his boyfriend. He would stop to admire him before taking his hand, kissing from his cheek, to his lips. The kisses only stopped once they were sitting down, his hand stroking Magnus' cheek. "Hey...about Raphael.
