tilly doesn’t think there’s any one person who she’d consider the right person to talk to about this, but claire is at least a seemingly unbiased party who will answer her honestly. part of her feels a little bit bad about keeping secrets thus far, then again, claire hadn’t told her about the sublevels or her brother’s involvement, so she figures they’re even! “hey,” she starts, adjusting her book bag strap over her shoulder. “can i talk to you about something? um, outside.” tilly doubts anywhere is truly private at gallagher, given recent and not-so-recent events, but she figures she might as well try. / @ofclaires​

The party had been fairly long and Faith had talked to plenty of people, though it was easy to say that the interaction with Claire was something that she kept in mind even a day or two after. “ hey, mr. collins, ” scott greets with an unusual sequence of hand gestures. their not-so-secret handshake lacks the usual enthusiasm which makes professor gem collins frown. 

“ oh-- ” scott bounces back on his foot to turn back to mr. collins, forcing the students behind him to walk around him. “ i was on my way here and i got a text from claire and she told me to tell you that she won’t be making it to class because she’s sick, ” he says all in one breath, attempting to pass conviction through a solid stare.

mr. collins blinks. “ ... oka-- ”

“ she’s not hungover. she has diarrhoea, ” scott intervenes, which does nothing to change the incredulous look on mr. collins’ face.

“ ... okay, scott. ”

“ awesome, ” scott nods. “ looking forward to a lit class, my dude. ”

she knocks on the door rather lightly with her knuckles, struggling not to drop any of the writing supplies in her arms. when claire answers, it’s not surprising but it isn’t ideal! just because it’s not who she’s there to see but a quick glance around the dorm indicates that ruby isn’t back yet. “oh, hi claire,” she says brightly. “which desk is ruby’s?” there’s mild urgency in her voice, because she’d prefer not to drop anything. / @ofclaires​

Anyone who even remotely knew Grey, knew that he hated crowds, events, dressing up .. all the things where people would gather, drink and pretend they were having fun just to be able to say that they were SOCIAL. However, not even he was able to change something about the fact that this was mandatory and while he spent the majority of his night outside and with Kass .. he figured he'd made the most of his time when he couldn't do those things. "This is a gala, alright," he voiced out, more to spark conversation because honestly .. he wasn't great at that. " Did you find something good to eat back in Berlin ? "i personally think all the work they're giving us is some sort of elaborate test. on what skill? i don't know, patience?" while it wasn't complaining, per se, it kind of sounded like it. so by habit, she tried to rein it in. she sighed. "but like, we're also interns. maybe we should build an intern union. let us have our own gym or something." she joked. ( @ofclaires​ )
