“----Ashley, it’s okay, you’re fine. You were just having a bad dream.”
It has surprised Sam to find Ashley crying out in her sleep, but she understands. She, too, often wakes up with tears rolling down her cheeks and the memory of Josh’s and Hannah’s face clear in her mind. They often found solace in each other; the experience had bounded the survivors.
Her hand finds Ashley’s shoulder giving a comforting squeeze. “Do you --- want to talk?”
