Hullo all! I am so sorry if it has been quiet on the promotional front the last couple of days. I have had laptop problems and have had to send Lil Sebastian to the shop to have it fixed. Sorry not to have posted this notice earlier but rest assured Lil Sebastian shall ride again and we’ll be back on track in no time :)

Welcome to EMPIRE OF DIRT, an upcoming fairytale-inspired science fiction roleplay. Here are a few things you may need to know before we get started:
EMPIRE OF DIRT is a fairytale-inspired science fiction JCINK-hosted roleplay taking place in an original setting. It is influenced by Blade Runner (and Blade Runner 2049), The Hunger Games’ District 12, Star Wars: Rogue One, Firefly and various fairytales
The main setting of the site is a settlement called Kingdom, capital planet of the Meorsh System.
The main plot of the site will focus on the uneasy transition in Kingdom five years after the Old Rebellion toppled the royal family and their nobility. The former Queen is now imprisoned and her supporters have either pledged their allegiance to the new order or gone into hiding. But for some, the rebellion is not over. Dissatisfied with where the new ruling powers (The Seven Axes) that have taken the monarchy’s place, they now fight against the very powers they fought for half a decade ago. Meanwhile, the kingpins of the criminal underground (known as the Fae Court) take advantage of the political chaos, silently gaining more power in Kingdom.
The site will accept both canon and original characters. There will be 40 canon characters listed on the site. While this is partly a fairytale site, we will not be corresponding each character with a specific fairytale character (neither will we be corresponding each subplot with a specific fairytale). We believe that there can be as many Snow Whites and Mulans on the site as you want. We only ask that you do your best to make your version distinct from other incarnations on the site.
Our target opening date is exactly one month from now, JANUARY 31, 2017

Our previous projects have included Fair is Foul: Crowns, Fair is Foul: Conquerors, and Forged in Fire (medieval-inspired RPs), as well as In A Time of Monsters (a AU Pacific Rim RP), Veridis/Quo (post-apocalyptic techno-noir RP), and White Teeth (modern royalty RP)
