the vagabond is standing still at the bathroom counter, attention fixed on his phone, a fiercely protective look on his face. he was clearly getting ready to shower, but something a certain brit said reminded him.

there was business to attend to soon. phone lifted up, and shower turned on to cover his words.

“hey. need a favor. of course i can pay. no he- it’s personal, not crew-related.”

a pause.

“get me everything you can on joel. yes, that joel. we have unfinished business.”

another pause, this one longer.

“yeah, it’s gonna get messy. but don’t worry. all the loose ends will be tied up and burned off.”
