Seemingly an unlikely [street] artist, Ofer Samra splits his time between his art; bodybuilding and running a physical training program; and working in entertainment, both as an actor and as a writer and producer. Presumably born largely out of his experience with bodybuilding Samra says that painting has helped him learn how to "express mind, body, and spirit" and has found figurative work to be his main conduit for expressing "life, passion, emotion, strength and character." Now 31 years after coming to the U.S. from Israel Samra lives in Venice, California, where I came across several of his pieces stretched along Venice Blvd. several months ago. @ofersamra
