I should write more of these
As you might have noticed, not much is happening. I even forgot about OFF’s 10th anniversary. So, here is some more information for ya’all.
For those that don’t know, OFF was made in RPG maker 2003.
The original plan was to release OFF+ as a RPG Maker MV project. However, due to various reasons, this plan was scrapped. It’ll now be made in RPG Maker 2003 just as the original OFF was. This does come with many upsides. For one, Rpg Maker 2003 games run smoothly on 60 FPS on any device. There’s also a program that let’s you play RPG Maker 2003 games on mobile.
(Except Iphones or Ipads. That’s probably never gonna happen. Sorry about that.)
So that change is where some delays came from.
But by far most delays come from real life responsibilities getting in the way. No big surprise there.
And now for another poll. The world of OFF is comprised of many small maps, much like any other classic RPG. Some of these small maps could easily be welded together to make a bigger map. In the picture below the entrance of Zone 1 is merged with the first train station of Zone 1.

Now the question is: Would you like small maps to be combined into bigger maps, or should they remain as they are?
