The other Boleyn girl is not one of the best movies in my opinion, it was pretty inaccurate I think and I hated that they implied that Anne Boleyn and brother wanted to do incest (don't know if that's a good sentence?). Anyway I love the Tudors, and I think you'll still enjoy it even though it's not always accurate. The acting is really great and I they gave way to more minor characters which I like, but you're right there are a few big mistakes in it so.

Yeah I think the book implied it too, but it’s been so long since I read it I’m not sure. After I finish Jessica Jones (seriously an amazing tv show) I’ll watch it. I have always like Jonathan Rhys Meyers and of course Natalie Dormer.

O my god this is so odd that you started talking about the Tudors cause I've been obessing over that time period for a few weeks now and reading all about it and it's interesting! Do you also like movies about their lives? Most movies are about Anne Boleyn (she is my favorite i think) and some of them are pretty good and accurate. I only know blogs related to the tv show the Tudors but i don't thinks thats what you're looking for? (sorry for the crazy message i got excited)

I’ve only seen The Other Boleyn Girl, which was based on my favorite Philippa Gregory novel and was how I got interested in the Tudor period. I knew too much about the Tudors to really enjoy it. I’ve been wanting to watch the Tudors show but I’m afraid I wouldn’t be able to shut off the part of my brain that yells at how factually incorrect it is. 

My favorite was probably Anne of Cleves. She came to England and was immediately insulted by a guy who wasn’t a prize himself. She divorced him and got to live in the lap of luxury as basically Henry’s sister. But Catherine Parr was also very smart and I like her too. I like all of his wives for different reasons.
