Snow White was no stranger to the feeling [especially as of late, what with Crane riding her about every decision she made], but that didn’t make it any more comforting. In fact, she found it to be quite the nuisance on most days. This was no different, of course, and especially not when faced with behavior that she considered odd or even strange. 

Then again, perhaps she was imagining things. Only one way to find out.

                  What the heck was going on here? He'd been through this way at least a dozen times and had only managed to get himself more lost. His footprints were covered by stacks of autumn leaves, his green tunic unusually bright against the reddish-brown backdrop of the decaying season. He'd only come across one house so far, similar-looking to the odd cabin that had been home to a swordsmith in Snowpeak. But that had been quite some while ago...

                 He jiggled the doorknob without thinking, a look of irritation slapped right over his face. Who locked their door at this time of day? It was almost as if someone didn't want him to just waltz right on in. But how else was he going to figure out where he was?
