Derek looked in the mirror and glared at the ears that his mate had conjured on him. “Was this really necessary?” He muttered out as he poked one of the ears before shaking his head. “I could have just bought a pair of those fake ones.” He spoke as he turned around to look at Neal. “Or are you just trying to show off your magic skills today?” He raised a brow and tried not to smirk at his mate.

Charlie knocked on the door of Neal’s apartment before bursting inside, letting himself in easily. The best part of being Neal’s friend for so long was that he could come in with or without a spoken invitation.

“Neal? I brought steaks. I’m feeding you tonight, no complaining. It’s my first night off in weeks, so you better be here!” he called out as he set a bag on the kitchen counter.

Or at least make the process painless and the wolf docile.

“It’s alright. I guess this isn’t easy for you either.“, he murmured, trying his best at returning a smile towards the other. He actually managed to sit down in one of the corners, legs pulled up against his chest, breathing still heavy. He could feel his bones slow down, and he really hoped that it would actually work. He didn’t want to turn right now. Last time it didn’t end so well.

Jack smiled and walked over to the younger, reaching down to put a finger under his chin and tilt it up. “Hows my little omega today?” He hummed lightly as he held the chin gently in his grasp. He liked to think of himself as a fairly good Alpha, he took care of the boy and kept him as his own. All he asked from him was loyalty. Which he didn’t think was hard to accomplish.
