As if one wasn't unusual enough, we now have a second Manx shearwater! This beautiful bird arrived at WAF after flying into a window. Although still bright and feisty (even taking a nip out of Maru!), it had two small wounds to its chest, which were quickly cleaned and closed. After recovering from the anaesthetic, it was introduced to its mirror image and the two are now happily recovering on one of our ponds.
