    A good aunt does whatever she can to make sure that her nephew is taken good care of. So when Ada found him asleep, slouched against the couch, she went to scoop him up. “This should be Gilbert’s job,” Ada sighed, smiling softly at the boy in her arms. She carefully braced him upon her hip and against her shoulder as she went through the corridors to his room.

    There, she tucked him into bed and kissed his forehead. Ada would be sure to have a word with Oz the next time she saw her. A curfew should be set so these kinds of predicaments could be avoided. Despite all the fuss she was feeling inside, she took a longer look at William. Her smile saddened and she went to brush his hair from his face. He looked so much like his mother.
