Hello Mr Liszt, I hope your Monday is good! My friend’s dad says he doesn’t like you (shocking behaviour) so I’m trying to make an argument for why he should love you. I was wondering what things do you think make you a good composer?

This comes as a very difficult question, for I do not hold myself in the highest regards.
Composing is for me natural and necessary; it is an urgency and not a matter of pride.
To be able to experiment and evolve perhaps has been my brand. My catalogue has more than 750 titles. Not all of them are masterworks of course, but they come from almost all experiences of music - at least all that I've encountered. My research on atonality I suppose might be interested... All my life is translated into music.
But, see: nobody should love me; they just should listen, and there's so much to listen of what I've done!
