❝ Can some one tell me what’s a vine? I’ll pay you with a chocolate bar.. ❞
❝ Guys Please, Lets all he happy for once? Maybe tell me how you feel on this blessing day! ❞
Milky are you a sadist or a masochist or something else?
No clue.
Basic Info:
Setting: Midnight Sun
Occasion: Winter Solstice Party
Premise: 2 Dreameaters have a very. very bad trip, sending them on a path towards explosive destruction as they are enveloped by magical outbursts neither can control. It is up to our Powered partygoers to take them out of commission before the evening turns into a blood bath, and perhaps learn a little bit about what these things even are in the first place.

Rules for this Group Event:
You may not destroy Midnight Sun
You may not physically harm another OC or another player's NPCs without their permission (I am giving people permission to harm our two devolving Dreameaters. Go crazy, get enveloped with their explosive dream worlds, unleash brutal magic on them. Show off your stuff or try to learn from them. Do what you'd like!)
Magic has limits. Please don't use magical fixes to instantly negate any conflict. That just ruins the fun! Let other people get in on the action too.
Dreameaters have very focused but extremely powerful outbursts of magic. They cannot really be reasoned with (but they can be talked to. They just won't give very coherent answers, as they are utterly encompassed by their dreamworld to the point of it leaking out into the real world). Their power may not have much finesse, but it is raw and unfettered and extremely destructive. They can likely hold their own against powerful Fae and Witches Proper for a short while before their energy is drained and they catastrophically self-destruct.
The only way to take down a Dreameater is to overwork it to the point where it implodes. You can fend off its outbursts, but there is no peaceful way to neutralize it. These poor Dreameaters are not getting out of the situation alive (and some innocent bystanders may also suffer a horrible fate if our magical partiers don't intervene).
Please don't use outside info about the plot that your character would not know. If your OC wouldn't have interacted with the Sandman, they probably don't quite know what is going on and will have to learn on the fly. That's part of the fun.
Where to Post:
The main RP will take place in the group Discord, in the RP channel.
You are free to post stories of your characters’ experiences at Midnight Sun, the aftermath, what they heard about it if they didn’t witness it first hand, how they wound up at Midnight Sun that evening in the first place, etc. Those stories can be posted to the tumblr and linked on the Discord server’s stories channel.
Opener:
The music pounded so loudly, the brick walls seemed to pulse and quiver like the belly of some great stone beast. Through the hazy smoke and flashes of neon, shadows of limbs thrown to the ceiling and bodies twirling in time melded into one writhing creature from the hundreds of dancers packed tight into the warehouse. The Midnight Sun appeared as it did on so many other midsummer nights, when the stale, oppressive heat of the day chased locals into the cavernous warehouse district like rats into the sewers. The stark blue flashes of strobes and heavy fog of cigarette smoke mimicked the heat lightning and roiling clouds which had settled over Morrow with the setting sun. But there was another crackling of static far stronger than that outside the warehouse. Power flickered in the club, Power strong and wild and raw like a live wire. While the oblivious humans danced on, a few across the packed warehouse began to pause and peer through the smoke.
Those with the Sight might have noticed UV sigils flash against the grimy brick walls. But most were too absorbed in the drinks sloshing in their hands or the heavy beat pounding through the speakers to notice much of anything, until a pair of partygoers slammed into the DJ’s table. Intoxicated or faded, or practically comatose patrons weren’t an uncommon sight at Midnight Sun. But there was something about the red flash of one’s eyes in the stark blue light that made those nearby start clambering to leave the dance floor. While most of the patrons continued their frenzied dance, the sigils flashed brighter and brighter.
Hey, you there in the cute coat! You better get inside before the fog rolls in! ~renatamorvay
"Ah, but, I'm not sure where I am, and it's probably a long way back to the castle... hey, where are you going? Maybe I can just crash with you for a while." - Ann
Envious-Insanity started following you... Again...
"Well, meeting again so soon?"
A scruffy man, looking around his late 20s, laughs out loud. "Well, I'm sorry to meet you before at such a childish age." Unsure of how well it will turn out this time, he keeps a high awareness of his surroundings.
"Now where we? Oh yeah, I cut out all the civil, casual crap we didn't want to put up with. Next, I gave you my name. I'm not quite sure I've got yours though..."
