I love how all the teams hosting prospect camps are taking the kids rafting and for rides on ladder trucks and doing charity and indoor skydiving to make the whole experience more unique or entertaining or whatever.

But then Pittsburgh’s usually just like, “here’s the dressing room, there’s Sidney Crosby’s ancient gear that’s old than you are” and that yields pretty much the same results.

Hey did you guys know that every time Tanger has a major medical event and his point average drops, Sid’s also takes a hit? And Geno apparently ups his game to compensate?

Did you guys know that when Sid and Geno aren’t scoring, Tanger ups his offensive production?

Did you guys know that in 2022 when Tanger and Geno almost didn’t get re-signed that everybody’s point average dropped?

I was looking through pictures from the earliest games our veterans played against Philadelphia, and I noticed a trend where you can kinda tell about when they start to “get” the whole Battle of Pennsylvania thing.

Flower and Sid learned on the same day.

Geno and Rusty took a couple of games.

Tanger waited until playoffs (and home ice) to really lean into it.

Kindy figured it out immediately.

After many months of work (and just in time for Flower’s homecoming), I finally finished my comic of the Core Four.

If I ever say I’m going to draw the Stanley Cup again, somebody hit me over the head with the damn thing.
