The woman could feel her own soul ache at the very sight of Vanille. How the clerics had tainted her good spirit to do their whims infuriated the Yun woman beyond compare. The fact she was prepared to toss her life away while hearing the dead only spurred Fang on to keep her hold on her sister that much more.
Her hands grasped at her shoulders and Fang made a point of rooting them both in place despite the onlookers in the distance noticing her. They were not pleased at the sight of the self made bandit in their cathedral. The huntress doubted they would get too close before they would be stopped in their tracks.
"Your life is more valuable than being a pawn to them, Vanille. I know exactly how you feel. I could hear them and feel them before. Each one I let down being unable to save anyone we knew or loved. Don't let them manipulate you into unleashing hell on this world with your compassion. We're being pawns again and I refuse to believe our people would ever want you to toss your life away for that cause."
