❝ — Im preeeetty sure i jus' crashed the TARDIS, 'cause that was a sound she has never made before.. ❞ Clara grabbed onto the pole as the TARDIS made an unsteady landing and without knowing the coordinates she had typed in she knew she was going to be in a whole lot of trouble.
"Captain Jack Harkness! You can start by putting down that gun, thank you! Don't act like you don't know me. Same old idiot, brand new eyebrows."

❝ Seems it's i m p o s s i b l e to get rid of you. You're like a leech. Or a bad cold.❞
“You know — you’re the last person who has to even ask for that, but never the less, I’ll gladly oblige, I’ll break the asking out of you later.” Silence over comes him as he leaned forwards taking his face into his hands and pressing his lips over Ianto’s savouring the connection that now seemed sweeter then ever before.
It isn't everyday Ianto falls apart at the seams by a simple touch. He's calm and collected on the surface, as his lips move against Jack's, but on the inside his stomach is in knots. Today the two of them confessed the way they, truly, felt for one another and he can't get much happier than he is in this exact moment.
He pulls back just enough to whisper against Jack's lips, a hint of a smile playing on his own. "You could always tag along on the bowling trip, Jack."
" No, no, no no no no N O and what are you doing here? How are you here? Why are you here? "
"I am not doin' that, Jack."
He heard the words, but death was knocking his door and grasping at his heels calling him to the darkness that lingered not so far away, the darkness that succumbed him when he was taken with death. it wasn’t white, or happy because there was no heaven waiting for jack harkness and he knew it — what did wait him he didn’t know but in his moments of death he was taken by simple darkness. ”S— sorry, Ianto.” He spoke his voice a near raspy, horrible sound as his arm lifted up and his fingers hooked against Ianto’s forearm balls of fabric forming in his palm as he tugged, dragging his shirt down a bit, as he gave a shaky breath. “You know…I’ll—-I’ll be back. Promise. Don’t go anywhere— yeah I expect to see that gorgeous face o’your’s when I wake up. Got that, it’s an….an order.”
Jack's deaths could range anywhere from five minutes to an hour, sometimes even longer, based on what had killed him. Ianto never paid attention to those facts. The only thing he focused on was being there for Jack during and after. Today was no exception. As usual it didn't take much more than a minute for Jack to grasp onto his clothes for dear life, something that had started happening weeks into Ianto's first month on the job. His arms looped around his Captain in a tight embrace, both to reassure himself as well as Jack that everything was going to be fine in the end. He should be used to this by now and, in a way, he was. But in many different ways he wasn't.
Ianto was well beyond sentence at this point. When the order was made all the Welshman could do was nod his head. He freed one hand from the hold it had on Jack and ran it through the Captain's hair instead. Eyes closing, Ianto prepared himself for the inescapable uncertainty this would no doubt have on him once Jack's eyes closed, seemingly permanent, for the thousandth time.
"If only I could find you a better job," Ianto whispered into Jack's hair, his hand never ceasing its actions, "I'd get you away from this." He wasn't sure if Jack could hear him anymore or not and he didn't care. He was never more honest with himself than he was when he was in this situation.
"I'll be right here when you wake up, Jack. You have my word."
