Music blasted loudly through the blond’s speakers as he danced around his home, mouthing the words to countless One Direction songs. He was still getting ready for the day, hence the half-dressed attire. His black jeans were pulled up but his chest was bare.
He’d gone to go brush his teeth, the music quieting now. It was a slower song that had come on, and it helped mellow his wildly enthusiastic mood. Ben bent down to spit toothpaste into the sink and when he looked up to the mirror, there stood LIANE.
Their songwriting date had completely slipped his mind and he’d forgotten she had a key. His toothbrush clattered onto the counter and he turned abruptly to see if she was truly there, not just a figment of his imagination.
She looked nice today - well dressed up - and here he was, half naked. Oh, SHIT. Ben was half naked. Redness appeared on his cheeks as he realised this, and the boy awkwardly covered himself, squeaking, “Liane! I forgot you were coming by this morning!”
Liane had started her day in a similar way, but with Disney songs rather than a popular boy band’s; before routing through her yellow closet for something to wear (before setting on a yellow sundress). She had been standing outside his place for a bit, having knocked once before -- practically hearing the music through the door.
Fingers fished through her bag until she had found her set of keys, before letting herself in. It had taken her a few seconds to find him, brow raising once she had. The sun lent herself against the door frame, head leaning to the side as well. “Didn’t peg you as a One Direction fan.”
Was she teasing him? Perhaps. The smirk upon her face certainly made it look as if she was. “You forgot?” Both brows were raised now, a hand moving to rest against her chest. “I’m hurt. I’ll leave you to finish getting ready.” A smile was flashed at him, before she turned and moved to leave.
