Mission accomplished: attention achieved!
@oflcgcnd
oflcgcnd replied to your post: His Barry senses are tingling. That probably means...
“Would you like to learn, too?”
“Uh. Sure...?” He’s all for learning things, honestly. Besides, whatever it was Barry was learning, it wouldn’t hurt for Lucas to check it out. Right?
...Can he hug the ghost dragon too?
@oflcgcnd, your appeal has received the following evaluation:
AESTHETIC QUALITY: 37 / 40
Wow. That’s all I can say. Your piece was a true stunner, Kina, keeping me riveted from beginning to finish. The gods were clearly shining down on this work in more ways than one! The only thing I could possibly criticize was that there was rather too much light being used--careful with using one thing too much, because once you use something repeatedly it starts to lose its effect. But you always kept me on my toes--and I’m me, so take that as the highest compliment!
TECHNICAL MASTERY: 40 / 40
The complexity and daring of the feats of both you and your Pokémon earn you a perfect score in this category. The flow of the performance was coherent and had a clear beginning, middle and end. I was especially impressed by your Light Screen dodging, your Light Screen/Water Pulse climb and the fall--most of all the way your Roselia still fought even while falling. Well done!
TRAINER TALENT: 40 / 40
You not only told a story, but you put yourself in the story as well. You earn yourself a perfect 40 for your involvement fighting alongside your Pokémon and for your acting, but also for that massive drop into the water--that stunt will be in my mind for months.
EXEMPLIFICATION OF CATEGORY: 35 / 40
You and your Pokémons’ personality clearly showed, which is key to showing off how proud they are. Sometimes I felt as though the Appeal could have been Beautiful or Tough, but at the same time the moments of pride at the beginning and ending were what made the performance truly Cool.
ORIGINALITY: 35 / 40
You bring a new meaning to the commonly staged trope of onstage spars. Your use of Milotic’s Light Screen was second to none--I would never have thought to use it that way myself--and the way you used each move, while not necessarily unexpected for their species (though Swords Dance and Dazzling Gleam on a Roselia is quite uncommon) ultimately came together to create dazzlingly unique visuals. Hats off to you.
BONUSES AND ANTI-BONUSES:
+20 for using zero moves categorized as ‘cool.’
TOTAL: 207 POINTS!

“You look familiar. Have we met before?” Lucas is almost certain that they’ve met, but for some reason their name eluded him.
They look as if they've been beaten to Hell and back several times over, however the little smile they have is genuine when they see Zane. Kina sidled over him, coming to rest against his side lightly. They didn't want to lean on him too much, in case their blood got on him. "It is good to see you again."
Getting blood on him was nothing new, it hadn’t been new even before his banishment, so without a second though he gently scooped them up and started toward his little cabin. He didn’t really sleep in it and it was more for Kaiser, but Zane spent time there as well.
“I do wish it was with you in better condition though. What happened?” he asked simply.
