Her heart raced, while her cheeks flushed such a brilliant red. And all because, of a silly boy and his promise to the girl he liked. He had promised to become a man, a man that could protect her and her family; along with their friend. A man that she could be proud to call hers, and a man his father could be proud of too. He had done all of this and more, but she had thought in time he would’ve forgotten about such a silly promise. But he hadn’t, instead here he was embracing her as he spoke those words. Words that would be followed by another set, a set of four that would change her entire life forever.
