if his mind had a room that kept images of every person he had met, the files &. contents would be a mess. organised into two separate piles: people of important. people he had met once or twice. &. while these persons should leave their mark in his head - the pain of scrubbing memories of faces he no longer wanted to remember haunted him so deeply - yet the woman who stood in front of him should spark a certain familiarity in his mind’s eye. however, he couldn’t seem to place a finger on the name that balanced at the tip of his tongue so teasingly.
