   “Try not to spoil the mood, son.” Remus couldn’t resist a smile, Teddy appeared to have inherited his grumpiness. But not in this case, Christmas with family was actually one of his favorite times a year. Lots of good food, house decorating and the time they spent together. 

  “Remember, Santa will come only to those who believe in him.” Giving his son a wink, Remus continued to sneak cookies from the bottom shelf, behind he mugs, where Dora has tried to hide them from him.

Albus holds his breath when Teddy talks to him. He’s used to sarcastic, non-fluff words from the other boy. It’s just how he was. But he also has some self conscious issues with thinking about how people don’t care about him much at all. Even when it was just his siblings sending him shit.

He lets the breath out when Teddy releases his last words, ruffling his hair. He needs to tell someone, he thinks--maybe. If it isn’t obvious. “Don’t tell Mum or Dad what I did,” Albus tells Teddy, pulling up a large chunk of hair that was hiding under his thick mane of black. The once black was a blue colour, almost identical to the one the elder boy had, only more mudded and faded looking. “My muggle mate has this girl that is studying cosmetology shit and she did it. Even--” Albus lifted his fringe away from his forehead. “Pierced my eyebrow too. Mum had a fit with my lip--

“I’ll be fine.”

It was a sentence Dora had repeated a bit too many times these last twenty-four hours: in the mirror, hastily changing her bubble gum pink hair to a dreadfully dull brown, whispered it on the phone to Harry in a rather hushed tone. Mostly, however, she’d been saying it to Teddy. This particular time, not unlike so many before, she wasn’t completely looking at him while she said it. Of course, you don’t normally look at people while you’re in a hurry to pack.

She’s been assigned a high risk job, the first one in years. Extremest Neo-Death Eaters, the Department of Magical Law Enforcement was calling them. A couple factions had sprung up during the past fifteen years, but none had accomplished much before the ministry put a stop to them. This time, however, there was an air of fear about the whole thing. A handful of witches and wizards had gone missing recently. All of them were either muggleborn or... something not quite your normal, everyday wizard. Dora glanced up at her Teddy -- metamorphmagus and the son of a werewolf, he wasn’t exactly the most “normal” wizard there was. If she was being completely honest with herself, he was why she’d agreed to such a potentially dangerous assignment. She hadn’t fought-- Remus hadn’t died -- just so the world could go back to being a dangerous place for her son.

Not on her watch.

Yess, I’m kinda hoping it will happen like it recently has with Charlie blogs that if I sit and wait they’ll spring out of nowhere and I’ll find them. There are actually a surprisingly small number of Weasleys tbh. 

Like, I’m counting 1 Arthur, 0 Mollys, like 2/3 Bills I think?, 2/3 Charlies, like 1 Percy that I’ve found, a few of the twins, and a number of Rons and Ginnys. That are active that is. Ron is definitely the most popular i think.
